Vision

With an average 50% of working aged adults with a disability not in work we believe many workplaces are missing out on a great source of talented and committed employees. We know from personal experience that it doesn’t have to be like that. Our vision is to mentor and coach our clients to be the best they can be, empowering them to find long term employment at their pace.

Mission

Workability in Waveney, will offer ongoing 1:1 sessions focusing on Wellbeing for Work as a core principle.  We will create individual bespoke programmes which will enable each client to identify and overcome barriers to employment.

Once those fundamental issues have been addressed we will focus on Employability and employment. Individual action plans will be created and mock work-focused interviews completed as well as any other specific help and support we identify along the way. Local work experience and volunteering opportunities be offered with our Workability Adviser on hand to support and liaise at all times.  It is our mission to support our clients to achieve paid work, long term volunteering or further training within Waveney.
